Online Video Workshops
As a new part of our ongoing effort to expand the tools available to our users, we have begun producing online video workshops. Currently, these workshops cover many of the same basics that our live workshops cover, but in the future we plan to release videos covering more advanced topics to help accelerated users get the most out of Drupal.
Currently Available Video Workshops:
1. The Fundamentals
Learn how to log in and get a basic overview of the anatomy of a Drupal site.
2. Basic Page Creation and Editing
Create a brand new, blank page, and fill it up with some sample content.
3. Basic Widgets
How to create widgets in Cal Poly's Drupal system.
4. Custom Widgets
For users who know HTML, custom widgets allow for a far greater range of customization and control than basic widgets.
5. Hero Rotator Images
Learn the basics of the hero rotator on your home page and how to add an image to it.
6. Working with Embeds – Videos and Calendars
Videos, Calendars, and more can be embedded into your site using iFrames.
7. Social Media Links and Icons
Edit and manage the social media links that appear on the bottom right of your Drupal pages.
8. Working with Menus
Learn how to create menus and manage the pages they link to.
9. Sections Part 1
Sections can help you organize your site and assign content to specific users.
10. Sections Part 2
Polish off your mastery of sections in this follow-up video!
